American Funeral Partners was formed to fill a need we feel exists within the industry at this time. There are many owners who want to retire, but feel that no qualified individual is financially able to purchase their business, especially in this credit environment. They do not want to sell to the public companies, or the public companies are not interested in them at this time. Additionally your employees can not succeed you because they are not financially able and you do not have succession plan within your family because your children have decided to pursue other avenues. So, what is an owner to do?.........This is where we come in.
We formed our company to give sellers a choice in the sale of their business. We are not a huge company, just a couple of funeral directors who have decided to work together by combining our financial resources and talents to acquire and operate funeral homes in the tradition they were started. We have a principal that comes from a corporate background, and one who has always worked for independents before buying his first funeral home. We have owned, managed or operated Funeral Homes, Cemeteries, Crematories, and Combo's. We have turned around failed locations and we have overseen multiple locations covering multi-states. We have been involved in hundreds of acquisitions, valuations and financings. We point this out, not to brag about our past accomplishments, but to let you know that we have the experience needed to acquire and operate your business, regardless of its size.
We plan to hold on to the funeral homes for the long-term. When we plan our future, the time frame we use is for the next generation of our families to continue the tradition with pride.
We currently own 6 Funeral Homes, a Crematory and a Cremation Society. We are actively looking to buy others right now. I invite you to contact me directly to discuss your business and your timeframe to sell. If you are not ready to retire immediately, that is even better, we would prefer you to stay on and work for a few years to transition the relationships in the community over to us.
